‘Time stands still for no man or woman (I don't want to leave myself open to accusations of sexism)...’

...it’s my 40 birthday this year and it has become apparent that I need a challenge (or I'm having a mid life crisis, I’m yet to decide which..?) and have been accepted in the Virgin London marathon 2013 through a charity – PHAB Kids and whilst I am able to fulfil the desire of this challenge, I will also be able to do some good and raise some money for a much needed charity:

PHAB is a national charity dedicated to the integration of people with and without physical disabilities in the community. Phab has provided support and services for its members since 1957, enabling disabled people to enjoy the same opportunities and challenges as able-bodied and bring them together on equal terms.

I aim to raise as much as I can for the PHAB Kids charity through various fundraising events (watch this space.!) leading up to the main challenge of running the London Marathon.
