Story

I'm running my first ever half marathon in April - the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

Those of you who know me will know that I've never been a runner. During the first lockdown last year, I started running as a way to get out of the house and clear my mind. In recent months and to fill the void left by not being able to play my favourite sport football, I've pushed myself to start running longer distances and found myself enjoying it more.

So, I wanted to use this opportunity to really push myself, achieve something and raise money for a great cause. I'll be running the half marathon for Unicef. Your donation will help to provide children life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection.

I'd really appreciate any spare change you might have for this great cause. In return I promise live footage of my crippling state once I finally cross the finish line.

Thanks in advance and here's hoping I make it through in one piece.
