Story
Thank you for taking time out in your busy schedules so that you can read my story.
In summer 2018 I will be embarking on a journey to Nakuru in Kenya along with a group of volenteers from The Albion Foundation and Inspire Afrika.
The people from Nakuru are from extremely disadvantage background . They have very little and would give their right hand for a fraction of what we've got : education being one of them; they have to pay for that privilege which don't seem fair; their homes in which they live are so basic - you would cry ; they would be truly grateful for new clothing.
They say many hands make light work - I want my hands to be one of many hands to make the work lighter for them.
I will be doing a host of activities so I can raise the money for this extremly worthy cause ranging from : doing gardening; hosting a African theme charity ball ; babysitting to name a few.
Tyrone my son said " It's a life changing experience".
My friends Paula, Neil and Sally- Ann travel each year to Nakuru-continuing on with the work they started 4 years ago: to help make lives better for the children and their familes and seeing upfront exactly what their money gets spend on .
The first of many trip to Nakuru ............
