Take part in March the Month this September and walk 11,000 steps a day to represent over 11,000 men who die from prostate cancer every year. Help us beat the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK.

Story

As some of you will know I have recently been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. I will be fine but wouldn’t know I had the disease without a routine test as part of my annual medical.  To help raise awareness of this I am going to do 11,000 steps a day throughout September including (hopefully) running the Boston Marathon in Lincolnshire in under 4 hours if it goes ahead on September 13th. My wonderful wife (Siobhan) I’d doing the steps with me but possibly not the marathon!! Two messages. 1: to everyone who knows me, please give me as much as you can to help support the charity. 2: If you are one of my mates, you are probably a similar age, get yourself checked, I have no symptoms whatsoever!! Thanks for reading this and thanks in advance for all your support, please share this with everyone you know who may know me to help me & Siobhan to raise as much as possible. Cheers, Ian xx
