Story
Hi, This September I am taking part in the “March for Men” for Prostrate Cancer UK, which means me walking a minimum of 11000 steps per day ever day throughout September. The 11000 steps represents the 11000 plus men that die from Prostrate cancer every year. I am one of the lucky ones. In December 2018 after a blood test my PSA level was 50. The average healthy man should should have a level below 3.5. I was subsequently diagnosed with prostrate cancer. However due to the skill and treatment I received at Broadgreen Urology Dept and the support from Prostrate Cancer UK, my PSA level is currently undetectable, which means I’m currently cancer free. This is the reason why I’m “Marching for Men” and asking you to please make a donation to Prostrate Cancer UK. So they can use the money to help the research into what is now the UK’s most diagnosed cancer. One in ten men will get Prostrate Cancer, so the sooner a cure is found the better. All monies donated will go directly to Prostrate Cancer UK. Thanks for your support. Howie
