Well it’s that time of year again when a group of friends decide to put on their walking boots and try and raise a few quid for this fantastic charity. Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men, and 1 in 8 men will unfortunately be diagnosed with it in their lifetime, so on the 12th October, National Non League Day, we’ll be setting off from St James Park, Newcastle United, and heading to Northumberlandia, then on to Craik Park to take in Morpeth Town AFC’s game against Basford United.
It’s our 3rd year arranging our March for Men, and as always we try to beat our previous year, distance wise, so this years route is approximately 18 mile long. We’re not a fit bunch by any standards, but we want to do our bit for a charity that is close to home. We would love you to join us on our journey, so please get in touch if you fancy it...
Remember, 1 man dies every 45 minutes from this awful illness so every little helps, no matter how small...
Thanks for taking the time to look at our page, and hopefully see a few of you joining us on our walk.....
