Story
"I am thankful for the memories and moments I got to spend with my grandfather. There are so many to say and not enough space for me to write them all, I will always remember how he used to take time to sit with us by the fire and told us stories and singing to us in his native tongues of chichewa and Shona. My grandfather was a loving man with a beautiful soul.
It took me a long time for me to come to terms with the loss of my grandfather and honestly even it has been a few years I am still processing it, before my grandfather was diagnosed I had no prior knowledge of prostate cancer and how being a black male meant I had a greater risk of getting prostate cancer. Black men are more likely to get prostate cancer than other men, who have a 1 in 8 chance of getting prostate cancer. We don’t know why, but it might be linked to genes. " Gift.
