Story
I am a volunteer at the Mustard Tree and on April1st 2012 I will be walking from Berwick upon Tweed via Holy Island (Lindisfarne), back to the Mustard Tree front door in Manchester. The route will take me down the Northumberland Coast Path to Newcastle, where I will turn right and follow the Hadrian's Wall Path to the Once Brewed Youth Hostel. From here I will head south down the Pennine Way to Uppermill, where I will be joined by friends for the last leg of the journey, along the Huddersfield and Ashton Canals in Ancoats, Manchester. This is a total of 230 miles which I intend to complete in approximately 16 days - that's about 10 - 12 miles a day.
I'm hoping to be offered a place to stay each night along my journey, as any money saved on accommodation will be put towards fundraising.
The list below shows where I will be staying along the way. The place names with * next to them indicate where I have no accommodation planned.

The money I will be raising for the Mustard Tree is specifically to pay for food items for use in emergency food parcels for our destitute clients. We give out around 30 bags full of food to clients each week.
