I am Marcelo, an avid marathon runner. Over the course of more than 10 years, I have traversed the streets of Buenos Aires, Merida, New York, Chicago, and Berlin, pushing my limits with every step. But now, I am gearing up to face my greatest challenge yet: the London Marathon.

In this journey, I am not just running for myself, but for a cause that deeply touches my heart. I am fundraising for Whizz-Kidz, an organization that provides vital services to young wheelchair users. With every stride I take and every donation I receive, we are creating opportunities for these brave young individuals to obtain the equipment, skills, and confidence they need to go further in life.

It is unacceptable that young wheelchair users face countless obstacles in their daily lives. From inaccessible spaces to negative attitudes, it is high time we urgently change this reality. With your support, we can build a world where every young person can unleash their full potential.

Allow me to introduce you to Matt.

Matt was born with an unwavering passion for speed and racing. Whether it's go-karts, swimming, or gliding in his new wheelchair, nothing can stop him. However, his old wheelchair was heavy and cumbersome, hindering his integration with friends at school and during playtime.

Thanks to incredible support like yours, we were able to provide Matt with a Whizz-Kidz wheelchair in his favorite Team Red Bull colors, which is significantly lighter than his previous one.

"Now he can keep up with his friends, showcase tricks on the playground, and focus on his dream of becoming a professional racing driver."

Yet, the harsh reality is that 1 in 5 children might not receive a wheelchair from us this year. The cost-of-living crisis has made it 20% more expensive for us to provide wheelchairs that meet the specific needs of these young individuals.
