We inspire doctors and vets to collaborate to advance both human and animal medicine.

Story

I admire the altruism, generosity and values of the British people, their love for nature, animals and gardens. Gandhi once said that the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. To me, this very trait puts the Great in Great Britain. I have long wanted to join in the efforts of animal conservation and protection to make the world a less hostile place to the fascinating creatures we share it with who daily lose their habitat, are killed or captured for trade and the thousands that renounce their lives for experiments in labs. It is in this spirit that I pledge to family and friends, that wish to show me their  affection with Birthday and Christmas gifts, to trade them for a small contribution to a charity that is close to my heart.  This is a request which I hope will make deciding what to get me a walk in the park and in turn will bring hope and sunshine to my heart for, in the words of Saint Francis of Assisi, “it is in giving that we receive” and in the wise words of a 13 year old Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, “For when night’s pillow nuzzles back the day, the only light you get to keep is the love you gave away”

Humanimal Trust was funded by The Supervet himself, the Omnipotent Vet Surgeon Noel Fitzpatrick, and aims to bring Human and Animal Medicine into One Medicine, one that men and their best friends can mutually benefit from, so that naturally occurring disease in animals is studied rather than given to them in laboratories for research.
