I have volunteered to take part in the Gaelforce West Challenge on behalf of Theodora Children’s Trust on Saturday 15th August.

The  event takes place in Ireland over a 67km course spanning over two counties - Co. Galway & Co.Mayo.  Mountain running, cycling & kayaking over terrain which includes mountain scree, boglands, trails, roads & Killary Fjord.  I'm hoping to do this is about 5 hours but lets see what the wilds of West Ireland throw at me.

I am doing this to support the work of Theodora Children’s Trust and the Giggle Doctors who bring joy and laughter to many seriously and terminally ill children in hospital and hospices.
