Story
Thank you for visiting the fundraising page In Memory of my Husband Cpl Marc Birch, This page was originally set up to sponsor myself and our brother-in-law Andy taking part in the London Marathon 2010. To date we have raised massive £10,240 and thank everyone for their very kind donations.
Since then we have continued to recieve alot of kind donations from various events and individuals and so decided to keep this page open for this purpose.
Marc was tragically killed by a suicide bomber on in on operations with X-Ray Company, 45 Commando Group, Royal Marines.
Marc had an infectious personality and a cheeky grin that would put a smile on anyone's face. His quirky sense of humour never failed to see the bright side of life and he is sorley missed by all who knew him.
Marc was a dedicated family man, a loving Husband, Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Uncle and good friend to so many people; he loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends and living each day to the fullest!Marc died doing the job he loved and with that we are truly inspired by him, the hero he became, but also we are amazed by all the injured service men and women who need our continuing support.
Fundraising continues and if you would like to support please donate not only in memory of Marc, all the fallen soilders but also for the men and women fighting for our country to stay safe, their determination and courage.
We are proud of you all…… we will remember them forever.
