Eden is full of life, very cheeky and loved by so many people. Eden was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma in April 2021. She is currently enrolled on the bivalent vaccine clinical trial in New York, thanks to an incredible community of support.

Story

Eden, my son’s 6 year old friend,, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer in April 2021 - neuroblastoma.

At just six years old Eden has had invasive surgery and is undergoing treatment so as to go into remission and be cancer free. As a friend we are having to watch the physical and emotional strain that this is causing to Eden and her family knowing that even if she does manage (please God) to go into remission the likelihood of the cancer returning would be high and thus less positive in relation to her survival chances. That is why I am keen to join in the efforts, to raise money for Eden to have access to medication and treatment from overseas to significantly increase her chance of going into remission and the cancer not returning.

I want to support them helping to raise money for Eden to be cancer free and for her to access the drugs required to increase her chance of survival.

Speaking as a father myself, I am truly in awe of Jen and Lee’s (Eden’s parents not to mention Tia, Eden’s big sister) as their daily strength and determination is just amazing and awe inspiring not to mention Eden’s fight for life with a huge smile which is ever present on her face. Therefore I am asking, hoping and begging for YOUR support to help give the gift of life to a little girl so that Eden can be cancer free and for her to access expensive drugs from overseas to increase her chance of survival and reduce her chances of the cancer returning.

Therefore, I am joining in with the 22 mile Charity Walk- Eden’s Garden - on Saturday 12th February 2021 - adding my own personal challenge to this which is to not only walk the route with my team of 5 others but for me personally to also run the route and separately cycle the route within the same 24 hour period! Making this 66 miles in a 24 hours

So dig deep in your pockets, I will do the crazy challenge and Eden (fingers crossed) will be closer to benefitting from life saving medication which will rid her and her family from the shadows of cancer.

Every little is another pound closer….. thank you in advance for your support!!!
