On September 3rd, 2022 myself, along with two other friends (John and Jamie), will be walking 57km from Eastbourne to Hove in support of our good friend, Simon Geere. Simon is doing this walk in memory of his daughter, Lola Geere who sadly passed away in August 2021 from cancer shortly after her 15th birthday.

I know that times are hard right now but myself and my fellow ‘dinosaurs’ would really appreciate anything you can offer in support of our team, Walking with Dinosaurs as we embark on our epic 57km hike to raise money for this incredible charity and all the vitally important work they do. 

To say this ‘walk’ is going to be a slog is an understatement; however, it’ll require just a fraction of the fight Lola showed and others like her face on a daily basis.

I’ll let Simon tell you exactly why the work Young Lives vs Cancer is so important because he can say it far better than I can: ‘It's wrong that any child should face such a cruel disease, and it's wrong that any family should have to cope with the physical, emotional and financial challenges that a child's cancer diagnosis brings’.
