Thank you for taking the time to visit Catherine & Marc’s
Right-to-Play funding page.
Right-to-Play’s aim is to use sport and play to encourage behaviour change, enhance child development and overall improve the lives of children in disadvantaged or war-torn countries.
Starting as Olympic Aid for the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, Norway, Right-to-Play have since then kept building up an international presence under the helm of their CEO, the four-time Olympic Gold ice-speed skater medallist Johann Olav Koss.
Right-to-Play develop sport and play programmes and send global team of staff and volunteers, who train local coaches to teach children sport and play in their communities over the long run. More than 350 athletes volunteer their time to help Right-to-Play, such as: the Chelsea Football Club, Jose Calderon (Spain), or Haile Gebrsellasie (Ethiopia).
From the most recent surveys, here as some fantastic and promising results from Right-to-Play programmes: increased self-esteem, more peaceful communication, or reduction in aggressive behaviour.
