Although this says Susan Hopper’s page this is a team fundraising page for the following people. Susan Hopper, Stuart Irving, Phil Pattinson, Ian Milburn, Kate Stark, Sharon Dickson, Claire Borradaile, Joni Armstrong, Richard Prokas, Linda and Chris Patterson, Andrew Foster, Helen Tiffen, Claire Raine and Alison Jones.  

We have come together as a team to raise awareness and valuable funds for people suffering from this horrific disease. We organised a black tie ball and the £20,000 raised is included in this page. Half of this will benefit people suffering from MND in Cumbria and the other half support national research programs into a cure. 

Our vision is that one day there will be an effective treatment
plan that will stop the progression of MND

We will be running this marathon in memory of the much loved Tony Hopper, who lost his battle to this cruel disease in 2018 aged just 42 years old.

We will be training hard for this event. Some of us run at the moment and some of us not so much, so your kind donations will spur us on when the miles get harder and harder, knowing we are doing what we can to support those living with MND.
