Marathon row for Chester Zoo · 1 July 2020

Despite everything, Chester Zoo is still preventing extinction. From caring for 35,000 animals to helping conservation organisations across the world manage the impact of this crisis, our fight for wildlife will not stop!

Story

Chester Zoo have been instructed by the government to remain closed until further notice.

However, their animals still need constant care to a monthly total of £1.6m.

Lockdown has been hard for us all and seeing as I have been out of work since the government closed the gyms I have decided to do something productive with my time!

I am rowing 42,195 meters (a marathon) on 4th July- no mean feat but I've now nailed my colours to the mast so no backing out now!

Let's all get together and help support Chester Zoo during this horrible time- any small donation would mean the world to me and to them.
