I am running this years New York Marathon on November 6th 2005 to raise money for Get Kids Going - a charity that raises money for kids that can't run but provides them with specialised wheelchairs so they can play with their friends and even take part in sports such as marathons, tennis, athletics, rugby, basketball etc.

It gives disabled children and young people the chance of a life time, freedom, and many wonderful opportunities that you and I take for granted

In the UK 250,000 disabled children would love to be able to compete in a sport that we all have the born privilege of but they do not have the mobility equipment to allow them to do so.

It costs £3000 for an individually designed wheelchair that allows a child or youngster to compete in their chosen sport and my goal is to raise enough money to provide ONE!!.
