Story

In January 2020, I will be starting my Guinness World Record attempt to be the fastest lady to run the full length of New Zealand. That's top to bottom of both islands! The total distance is approximately 1,400 miles. I will be running 35-40 miles a day for 42 consecutive days to complete this challenge.

This challenge will be dedicated to my late cousin, Ian Davies. He struggled with mental health issues and sadly took his own life last November. I am not afraid to admit, that I also suffered with depression and anxiety, it can be so debilitating. Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling.

I therefore couldn’t think of a more poignant charity to be raising money for than - MIND.

MIND believes that no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone. It’s a fantastic charity that offers support and advice to anyone who reaches out. LET’S RAISE EVEN MORE MONEY THAN BEFORE
