Story

I'm entering the TCS London Marathon 2023 to raise vital funds for people with disabilities .

Calvert Trust Exmoor is an outdoor adventure centre and charity in North Devon, providing activity breaks for people with physical, behavioural, sensory and learning disabilities.

I am terrified and excited in equal measure, since having children my running has been inconsistent at best, and I've never attempted to run a marathon before. I am however privileged to run on behalf of the Calvert Trust and will do my absolute best to raise as much as I possibly can.

You can view more about their work on their website https://calvertexmoor.org.uk/

Our mission is to enable people with disabilities to achieve
their potential through the challenge of adventurous activities, to improve the understanding of disability and to encourage the integration of disabled and able-bodied across society.
