Story
Every morning I jump out of bed excited for the day ahead, knowing I am lucky enough to be working with the most inspiring, determined and exceptional young people of Woodlands Meed. Our students make me laugh out loud, and surprise me with their ingenious suggestions and ideas every single day. As a way of thanking them for bringing me so much joy, I am running Brighton marathon to raise funding for the Friends of Woodlands Meed.
I know how important donations to the Friends of Woodlands Meed are. From the wheelchair accessible outside play equipment, to the plants for the Eco Schools initiative, reading books and maths resources, and even the Alexa that our class like to ask hilarious questions.
If you are able to donate, please do. I realise we're living through difficult times at the moment, so any donation, no matter how small is hugely appreciated. If you unable to donate at the moment, please do follow my training journey as all your support will get me through the next six months of sore legs, wet feet, moments of "why am I doing this", winter rain and mud and whatever other great British weather is thrown at me!
Thank you for joining me in supporting our incredible young people!
