Hunger Heroes is an annual food and fundraising competition that gives businesses, sports teams, social clubs, youth groups, and even families the opportunity to provide nutritious meals to individuals in our community experiencing food insecurity.

Story

Marathon is proud to return as members of the hunger heroes team. We are teaming up to keep food insecurity at bay in Hampton Roads! We hope we can have your support in our quest!

About the campaign

Hunger Heroes is an annual food and fundraising competition that gives businesses, sports teams, social clubs, youth groups, and even families the opportunity to provide nutritious meals to individuals in our community experiencing food insecurity.

About the charity

Since 1981, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore has proudly provided more than 400 million meals to our neighbors in need. Serving eleven cities and counties where one in ten neighbors are food insecure, we play a vital role in the fight against hunger.
