4,500 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK

On Sunday 2nd October 2022, more than 30 Luton Lions will be running the London Marathon alongside thousands of other runners through the streets of the capital city. We are fundraising for Children with Cancer UK with a collective team target to raise £60,000.

Children with Cancer UK actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. Our vision is a world where every child diagnosed with cancer gets to ring their end of cancer treatment bell.

We’re running to save the lives of children that have been diagnosed with cancer. We want to live in a world where no more children die of cancer and parents do not have go through the painful experience of burying their children. We’re running so children can have a fighting chance against cancer.
