I believe that Homelessness and rough sleeping should not continue to be a problem for communities in 2020.  As a CEO for MK Dons Sports and Education Trust I witness first hand how this affects everyone and how we are all only a couple of wage packets away from this ourselves. MK Dons SET provides education and employability work to support people back into work, we work with over 50K people each year and know that we have helped many back into work and safe housing.

Support systems are stretched, but at this time when we are all trying to manage self isolation its a time for me to reflect and look at what I can do to help people in desperate need of our support.

Im taking part in the 1st June event so I can sleep in my garden with my dogs, for warmth and company. I have the luxury of being safe and know its just for one night but I will be thinking about others who don't have that opportunity to go inside to a warm bed the next night.
