Story
Over the past 15 or so years, I was diagnosed at first with Ulcerative Colitis, however recently this diagnosis has changed to Solitary Rectal Ulcer Syndrome (SRUS) with Rectal Prolapse. As the investigations into the effects of this on my quality of life and my pain gets worse, they are now investigating me for bowel cancer as certain symptoms have worried the doctors looking after me.
I feel it is important to raise money for the people working on this condition even if it turns out I do not have bowel cancer as with my condition it is apparently more than likely to happen at one point in my life and anyway there are plenty of people being diagnosed with this disease everyday and this money raised will help them.
