Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a 'seasoned' marathon runner although haven't raised funds since 2006. I am running Brighton on April 10th to raise funds for the Hospice of St Francis, our local (Berkhamsted) Hospice who provide palliative care and support for people with terminal illnesses. This includes outreach and family support.

I am very fortunate to have match-funding up to this target from Barclays (my employers) for this run, together with gift-aid, so for every £10 donated this could be worth over £25 to the Hospice.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks very much for your support and generosity,  David
