We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I was approached by Martin Smith who represents GoDadRun, a charity set-up by the Olympic Medal Hurdler Colin R Jackson (CBE) to raise the awareness of men's health and Prostate Cancer, something that is close to both Colin and me. The charity is supported by Prostate Cancer UK. Believe it or not I will be running (well I’ll try my best) but it’s a good 3 mile walk!

I was invited to the launch with other Ambassadors including Mark Foster, Jonathan Edwards, Sian Lloyd, David Seaman, Fernando Montaño (Colombian ballet dancer) and Jamie Baulch.

In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Most men with early prostate cancer do not have any symptoms but some men may have some urinary problems. Remember to have a regular blood test to check your PSA.
