Story
I’m not much of a runner and I have never been "sporty", but being signed up for the London Marathon by a friend drove me to start training and eventually enjoying running. I wouldn't be here doing this today if it wasn't for her so if you get a moment please visit her page and read her story (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/krupst). For those of you who know me, I’m considered very unhealthy and a more than regular social drinker. But since signing up to the marathon and applying to run for prostate cancer I have lost 22kg and already ran a 10k and a half marathon.
I’ve decided to run for Prostate cancer as the charity is
very personal to me having lost my dad to Prostate Cancer 11 years ago. Funnily enough he too was a runner in his younger days so I couldn’t think of a better way to honour him than running 26 miles.
In all honesty I’ve never done anything in my dad’s memory and I’ve stumbled into this but I am committed to making him proud.
