Story
In late December 2017, our beloved friend, colleague and CEO Colin Lomax sadly and unexpectedly passed away from sepsis at the age of 56.
In memory of Colin and his legacy, we will be dedicating this MCM London Comic Con Fundraising raffle to him, and to the UK Sepsis Trust.
From the UK Sepsis Trust website:
Sepsis (also known as blood poisoning) is the immune system’s overreaction to an infection or injury. Normally our immune system fights infection – but sometimes, for reasons we don’t yet understand, it attacks our body’s own organs and tissues. If not treated immediately, sepsis can result in organ failure and death. Yet with early diagnosis, it can be treated with antibiotics.
Our goal is to end preventable deaths from sepsis and improve outcomes for sepsis survivors. We believe that earlier diagnosis and treatment across the UK would save at least 14,000 lives a year.
PRIZE DRAW SUNDAY 28TH OCTOBER AT 3PM

Entry Information and Terms & Conditions:
To enter the raffle, please donate £2 (or more!) to the page - one donation is equal to one entry, so please make multiple donations for multiple entries. We will need to contact you via email if you win a prize, so please make sure your details are correct and that you tick the box next to our name at the end of the donation process so that we receive everything correctly. All donations will go directly to the UK Sepsis Trust.
Entries will be open until 3pm BST on Sunday 28th October, and the prizes will be allocated shortly afterwards.
Announcements will be made on our Twitter account, @MangaUK and winners will be contacted via email. Donations received after 3pm 28/10/18 will not be counted in the draw, but may still be given to the charity. Entries are only open to UK residents aged 16 or over. If we find out that you are underage or overseas, or if you do not respond to our email within 7 days, your prize will be re-allocated.
You are welcome to donate if you are outside of the UK, but you will not be eligible to win a prize. To donate without entering, please write 'Non-Entry Donation' in the comment box.
