Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm not sure how it happened that I was persuaded to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats again but there you go. 6 years older and no wiser. If you live in Oldham and wish to support a local charity, you may wish to donate via an old fashioned sponsor form in aid of DR KERSHAW'S HOSPICE. Otherwise you can donate electronically or on a papery sponsor form to MACMILLAN CANCER CARE.
We travel on Fri 27 May, cycle for 15 days [one day less than last time, how did I miss that??] and return on Sunday 12 June. Our route should be 1066 miles if we don't get too lost and this averages 71 miles a day - still not keen on 99 miles in one day though!
There's George the socialist drummer with magic thighs, James the artist with cycling salopettes, (don't ask), Stewart who makes signs but is a stranger to hand signals and John the engineer [OK chemicals but I'm sure he can wield a mean chain link extractor!].
Gel seat cover has been purchased as has sudocrem for those chafed bits. You might want to guess the increase in thigh circumference instead of mileage!
