Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 5th April we always try to do something fun to remember Sue on the anniversary of her death. Over the years we’ve been to different theme parks, museums and even a day trip to London. For the past 2 years we’ve been in lockdown and had to come up with something different to do….cue the birth of #SueFest were we have camped in the garden and held a mini festival in her honour.
This year we are free to do whatever we like again and the boy has decided he would like to go on our biggest adventure yet! So for #SueFest3 (the name has stuck now) we are planning to hike up Mt. Snowdon!!! Having never done anything like this before (and still carrying some extra lockdown weight) it will be quite a challenge, but one I know Sue would most definitely approve off! We even plan to take a small sachet of her ashes with us to scatter on the top.
As this is such a big challenge, we wanted to raise money for cancer research. Knowing we are fundraising for such a worthy cause will help spur us on when it gets difficult. We have always chosen to support cancer research in the hope that one day they will develop a cure for cancer and no one else will suffer from this nasty disease. If you’re willing and able to donate then please do. Many thanks.
