Due to the great turnout from last year I've organised and will take part in a 7 mile walk in her name in memory of my darling sister Heidi Lording who 3 years ago lost her life to Ovarian Cancer.

Ovarian Cancer is known as the silent killer because the symptoms are often misdiagnosed and it's not detected until its late stages.

I believe this walk not only allows people to remember Heidi but also raise awareness of this terrible disease.

If a women's life can be saved by knowing the tell tale signs and receiving treatment earlier, this walk and the money raised has been worth it.
