In September 2020, Neil suffered 3 strokes at the age of 49 and he has been working on his physical recovery ever since and as a family we have all been on an emotional journey. It’s not been easy but with the love and support of so many, we are getting stronger every day and we are now making a commitment to helping others by raising funds for the Stroke Association. 

Neil is an inspiration to all of us and many of you, and we would love you to help us reach our fundraising target,

We have decided to complete a family challenge of walking 6,000,000 steps over 120 days between the 5 of us, which will be an average of 10,000 steps each beginning on the 29th March 2021. I am sure you  can imagine how much of a challenge this will be for Neil and how much their vital work means to us as their research enabled the best treatment options to be available from the NHS and other supporting organisations. 

Any support you can give will be vital to helping the some of the other 1.2m Stroke survivors in the UK and enable more families to recover from the trauma of a stroke within their family
