Hello Everyone, so with the challenge done and everyone has recovered, its been a time of reflection. When Claire and I started this adventure we wanted to break down the barriers between staff & clients, to highlight the message about homelessness and raise the profile of St Mungos. It was also our way of giving back to St Mungos and show supporters the part they play in our recovery. All goals have been achieved with great success. The support we have received in setting up this challenge has been overwhelming. The whole team have become close and strong bonds of friendships with in the team which will stay for the rest of our lives, we cant thank them enough, well done.

So what's next...We are currently working on a few projects at the moment and will start on our next challenge soon. Thank you to every one that has been involved with the Snowdon Challenge.

We are 2 clients Mandy and Claire from St Mungo's. We came through St Mungos projects after we had fallen on hard times . Though we did not know each other before, we found friendship along the way. We have also had to face a lot of our own problems and working through them by overcoming our past. As we rebuild our lives there have been high and lows along the way, but with the support network and friendship's we have made we've pulled through and walking has helped us. We often thought that mountains are like the barriers people have to face in life. When you are at the base of it you think - "how can I do this?... but as soon as you take those steps forward and start overcoming things you realise- Yes I can do this!"

People form across our projects clients and staff alike are coming together in June to walk up Mount Snowdon in memory of those who have died as a result from sleeping rough and to raise funds for vital services which ultimately change people's lives like ours. We are asking you to support this client lead venture and our ambition is to be at the top and say "Yes we did it!"
