Hello,

Off we go again! 

This is now our third year on the hoof in South Africa to support Action for Burns and Children in their mission to support severely burned children from the townships.  The aim for ABC this year is to collectively try to raise £25K to go towards post burn care and rehabilitation back into society for the burnt babies and we hope you will be happy to support us to help ABC reach its target.

 Mike and I will be spending 5 days of continuous hiking from Knysna up to and through the Marloth Reserve and then on to Cape Town.  Our marathon terminates at the children’s burns centre where we visit the babies in full confidence that our efforts will be giving them a better life ahead. 

Google maps tell you it is 455 kilometres as the crow flies, but that’s by highway and we will be taking the scenic route along the coast!  Trekking along hilly and sandy coastlines - pretty it might be is a definite “oh gosh” as it’s truly tough on the old haunches! 

So watch this space as we are three years older than when we first embarked on this lark.
