Story
My niece, Isla, is three years old and has been diagnosed with spastic diplegia. This means the muscles in her legs are always tight, making it difficult for her to walk and prone to falling over.
There is a life changing surgery that will permanently remove the tightness in her legs, and enable her to walk properly and do everyday normal things. This surgery and the vital post-op intensive physiotherapy are no longer funded by the NHS, therefore we need to raise £60,000.
I will be running the Carver Wolvethampton half marathon on Sunday 4th September 2016 to help raise essential funds for Isla. Any donations, no matter how big or small, will be much appreciated.
