Given the strong relationship between Greater Manchester & India. MIP have set up this fund to provide support for the growing COVID-19 crisis in India. MIP will be working alongside British Asian Trust to look at how this fund is distributed across India.

You will have seen in the news and your social media feeds, the devastation that the pandemic is having in India right now. Each day, a new world record is set for the number of COVID cases (352,991 in the last 24 hours), with the peak still to come. Hospitals have stopped admitting patients because they are running low on vital supplies and equipment including oxygen, leaving people helpless as they watch their loved ones die on stretchers outside the hospital doors. 

We simply cannot stand by and do nothing. We need your support to
