Story
I have seen how distressing, challenging and frightening living with dementia can be for the individual with the diagnosis and the people who love and care for them. Watching the confusion and frustration grow as the the memories slip away is heart breaking. The worry for their safety as the condition progresses and the guilt that comes with not being able to give them the level of care they ultimately need.
If any of this can be removed or reduced by raising money for the Alzheimer's Society then I'm up for singing, dancing and walking my way around Salford!
I know times are hard for everyone right now, if you can donate even the price of a Costa / Starbucks it will count towards funding vital dementia diagnosis, research, treatment and care.
