Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is my first ever fundraising event and is a cause that I truly believe in and I humbly request your kind support in raising sufficient funds to help PETA in their effort to fight against cruelty and abuse towards animals.
From volunteering in animal shelters, my partner and I noticed that we as humans often tend to forget that we are not the only species on this planet in need of help. Especially the ones that we oversee so easily, the animals, rely the most on how we choose to treat them.
Just like us, animals appreciate a warm and loving home, as well as basic necessities such as food and water. However, majority of the animals are neglected and abused on a daily basis, being killed and sold like accessories (furs/exotic meats/endangered species etc). I believe that every heart beat is created equal. No creature that is able to feel the same joy as well as pain the way we humans do should be subject to such abuse for their skin/fur or suffocated to death.
Some farm animals are raised for food and meat to support humans globally. I'm not asking you to go vegan/vegetarian but would like to draw your attention towards the fact that we should respect their purpose in our lives and strive to fight for their ethical treatment for the time they are alive by helping PETA be their voice.
Your generosity can make a huge difference to animals in need. This is why I have chosen to support PETA in their work. They do some amazing and effective work which you can checkout via link below:

Animals cant ask for the pain to stop, so they need you to speak out against their abuse and exploitation. Let's get one step closer to end animal suffering today.
On that note, I will personally contribute £2 for every pint I have until the World Cup Day. Anyone buying me a beer? There is a new craft beer pub downstairs :)
