I'm taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon 2019 to support families facing dementia across the UK. Dementia UK provide specialist dementia nurses who provide dementia care to families in need, enabling them to live more positively with dementia. *  I am thankful that I have not had to experience life with a dementia sufferer to date, but even hearing others who have experienced the traumas of having done so has spurred me on to support this charity. My grandmother passed away last year. She was a strong and inspirational woman but towards the end, she needed support, and she was blessed with a loving family around her. Never forget those families who are there 24/7 providing support to their loved ones.
