Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little bit more about World Villages for Children. This charity changed my life when I visited their school for girls in Chalco, Mexico, for the first time a few years ago. Since then, I've known that WVC would always be present in my life, whether in fundraising now or other work with them in the future. The influence and effect that WVC has cannot be understated; if you have any questions or would like to talk with me personally and have me provide you with some more resources and information, don't hesitate to reach out! Raising funds is important to me but even more important to me is that people would have the curiosity to learn more about the work done by the Sisters of Charity who run World Villages for Children and that they would also develop a passion for it like I have.
To put in perspective your impact by giving, here's a little overview: $10 will feed a child for a week- $39 will feed a child for a month-$65 will clothe a child for one year-$72 will educate a child for one year-$125 will cover a student's need for a month-$1,496 will support a child for a year.
Lastly, if you or anyone you know of owns a business, I am looking for 3 businesses who are willing to give $5,000. This would be a huge help in reaching my goal of raising $20,000 for WVC this year. I know this time of year can be difficult when some of you have already made donations to wonderful organizations like Catholic Charities and such, but I would really just love to spread awareness and share the passion I have for this organization, so if you are willing to donate some of your time to talk with me about some of the details and history of WVC, I would absolutely love that!
God bless,
Malina Costello
