We help protect the National Park to safeguard it for future generations

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This summer term we have challenged ourselves to walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from end to end whilst blogging our journey. We hope to raise money for the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Trust, promote the work that they do and bring attention to some of the issues which the park faces.

Walking makes us happy, and we feel privileged to call this varied, spectacular landscape with its rich cultural heritage, our home. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park provides a habitat for a diverse range of plants and animals, whilst bringing great enjoyment and wonder into the thoughts of those who visit. Protecting our ancestor's home for our descendants is very important to us.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust use donations to improve access to the park, whilst boosting biodiversity and conservation of habitats, promoting outdoor learning for young people and supporting skills development and jobs. Their current projects include “Wild About Woodlands” where donations are helping to plant 1000 trees across the park. “Make More Meadows” creating important habits to support important pollinators and "Pembrokeshire Outdoors Schools" enhancing access to outdoor learning opportunities

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
