We provide critical, pre-hospital care to trauma patients in Northern Ireland.

Story

Maldron Belfast International Airport, have created our "Lap the Lough" challenge to raise money for our chose charity "Air Ambulance NI".

Air Ambulance is an incredible local charity which relies fully on donations.  The service works closely with the Northern Ireland Ambulance service and they are on call 12 hours per day, 365 days per year.  They can get anywhere in Northern Ireland within approximately 25-30 minutes and their speed along with their outstanding team of medics is vital.  In a critical situation, if a patient can make it to the hospital within 60 minutes (the golden hour) their chances of survival are dramatically increased.

Our hotels Lap the lough challenge on 11th September 2022, forms part of our company's "Great Dalata Challenge" during our "Dalata Digs Deep" week.  This is a fun filled week when all of our hotels will come together to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charities.

For our challenge on 11th September, our aim is to gather up to 30 team members (including friends and family) to all walk 5kM each on the banks of the lough. If we hit our goal of 30 team members each doing 5km then we will total 150KM and have lapped the distance around the lough (144KM)

Wish us Luck :-)
