'As you may be aware, I've either cycled or ran through out 6 decades of my life. Not bad for a lad they told 'would never walk rite'.

As many of you may know, I have had a great passion for running for many years. As a honorary member of the Baildon Running Club, I have been able to organise, support and take part in many events, as well as receiving continuous support from the many people around
me which has always been greatly appreciated.

I don't go as fast, or as far these days, but supporting, and encouraging those who do, use to be as pleasurable, prior to lock down. I am looking forward to being there again, roadside, offering words of encouragement that create mixed responses, and many
smiles.'

As you can imagine at 80 years of age I already have everything I need and want,  so have decided this year to ask anyone who would like to celebrate my birthday, with me to donate to this amazing charity. 

This charity means so much to my family and I, the support they have offered both myself and my family over the years has been immense.
