Coltswolds Ironman challenge for Parkinson's UK and Cystic Fibrosis Trust · 23 August 2015

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Sometime last summer I was having dinner with Michelle and her family, after little peer pressure, Michelle tweeted about participating in a half ironman this year. Naturally, I thought it would be a good idea to do it with her...

Michelle and I want to take this as an opportunity to raise money for charities that are close to us and our families CYSTIC FIBROSIS TRUST and PARKINSON'S UK.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help us reach the goal of £500, with the aim of £250 to be raised for each charity.

For those who do not know what is involved in completing a half ironman triathlon, below is a break down of the disciplines and the distances:

Swim: 1.9km

Cycle: 90km

Run: 21.1km

BRING ON 23rd AUGUST 2015!
