We support Royal Papworth Hospital to enhance patient care and treatment

Story

In 2019 I was the recipient of a single lung transplant at Papworth Hospital and without the skill, expertise and care of all the staff at the Hospital would not be here today. To say thank you I am presenting an exhibition of my artwork  pre and post transplant, all the work in the exhibition is derived from places and objects found on the east coast where I live and where the exhibition will take place. The exhibition runs from the 15th - 20th of June 2021 at the North Sea Observatory Gallery in Chapel St. Leonards, Lincolnshire, PE24 5XA. The gallery has a delightful eatery with stunning views of the beach, so an excellent opportunity for a day out. There is also a Council run pay and display car park immediately to the rear of the Observatory Just put the postcode into your Satnav.(If you have one!).

To raise funds for the Charity we will be raffling one painting, value £620.00, which can be seen in the pages gallery. We have also produced a souvenir catalogue for the exhibition which is for sale for £5.00 all money raised through the sale of the catalogue is going to the charity. You can see all the pages of the catalogue at

In Search of the Purple Fish | Malcolm Tait Artist. Painter and Maker.

Each pound in donation gains an entry to the raffle, so if you donate say £5.00 when the total is £181.00 you will have tickets 182 - 186, ( we will email you to confirm your raffle entry numbers) Tickets will also be available at the exhibition, to organise donations made at the venue with donations made to this page will take a few days  to organise and to maximize fundraising the draw will be made   on the 28th of July. Raffles are not everyone's cup of tea and should you wish to donate but not be part of the raffle and do not want a catalogue, simply enter "neither" in the small message box.

N.B. Donating Clarity:

Option 1. if you want to be entered in the raffle type "raffle only" in the message box, (We will email you back to confirm your numbers).

Option 2. if you would like a souvenir catalogue you need to donate £6.00 (this includes£1.00 for P&P) Simple type "Catalogue" in the message box. It is important you also enter your postal address.

Option 3. If you donate £20.00 you can enter in the message box "Catalogue" and "Raffle"  and you will receive a souvenir catalogue and gain 14 entry numbers for the raffle. Again it is important to add your postal address if using this option.

Option 4. If you would simply like to donate, and receive neither simply enter "Neither" in the message box.

Option 5: You may wish to donate anonymously, if this suites you could I extend a heartfelt thankyou for your support.

Also 10% of any sales made will go to the charity.

The exhibition will include assemblage pieces, abstract paintings and some more traditional work. Some images of the work that will be on display can be seen in the page gallery.
