Story

Since my father-in-law passed away in December 2018 I had been thinking about ways to raise money for the Irish Hospice Foundation, a charity who almost entirely rely on voluntary donations and fundraising to support their work in palliative care.  I've been exercising at home for the past few years and following a recent rowing challenge with some work colleagues I started to think that this could be a way to raise money.  I had read about a million metre rowing challenge and decided to go for it.  Breaking the challenge down, I need to row approx. 5,000 metres four times per week for 12 months.  I started on May 4th and so far have completed 90,000 metres.  All my times will be verified on the Concept2 website & I'll share snapshots of these every month.  I know times are tough for everyone but it would be great if you could support the IHF (and me!) with this challenge.  Many thanks, Malcolm
