Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year I ran my first half marathon at the age of 59 to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, a cause close to my heart as my wife Helen was diagnosed with MS over 20 years ago. Such was the generosity of the donations received, and the sense of achievement that I felt at completing the course that I'm running the Cardiff half marathon again this year, this time to raise funds for The Merlin MS Centre here in Cornwall.
The Merlin MS Centre's mission is to create, develop and sustain a centre of excellence for the delivery of treatment, support and fellowship to those living with MS, their families and their carers. As a charity which receives no government funding, they rely entirely on our support to provide the services they do for those living with Neurological conditions so your donations will be greatly appreciated.
Barclays Bank have agreed to match the sum that I raise up to £750 and so I've set that as my target this year and with your help I'm hoping to make maximum use of their generosity by raising at least that amount.
