Story

I served with 3RRF 1978-1983 and have been on the investment committee of the Fusilier charities for 16 years. The need to keep money coming in to the Aid Society has probably never been greater and, because of Government cuts, there are fewer and fewer Fusiliers around to help more and more injured soldiers.

Many years ago I organised a sponsored cycle ride for my platoon (9Pl) covering the length of Denmark. Doing 200 miles in 4 days then would have been a breeze. At 57, this might be a somewhat greater challenge given my lack of fitness but hey ho -OAFAAF!

Once I have finished the ride I will make available to all fellow Fusiliers the route map and handy hints just in case anyone else would like to do the same ride.
