Story
Thanks for taking a MO to visit my JustGiving page.
As part of a large group of friends who meet annually to golf and socialise, we have decided to get together to raise funds for The Pelican Cancer Foundation who specialize in curing cancers "below the belt" - liver, bowel, prostrate, bladder, etc.
The catalyst for this appeal this year was the fact that at our Annual Golf outing we were one friend short this year as he is suffering from Liver cancer. I also lost one brother to cancer earlier in the year and my other brother has just finished treatment for prostate cancer.
We felt that as a group it was time to give something back. The bottom line is that we have set a target to raise £5000 by us all participating in the Movember challenge.
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
I know that it is not the best time of the year with Christmas closing in, but any small amount that could be donated to this Society appeal would be greatly appreciated.
I will post pictures regularly to keep everyone updated on the abnormal growth on my top lip.
By the looks of it so far I’m waiting for Country & Western revival or joining a “Village People” tribute band!!

So please dig deep and donate now.
